Maternal and Child Health Month at SV5 Health Center
Project ALAGA: Nurturing healthier mothers, stronger children
In celebration of Maternal and Child Health Month, the Rotary Club of Metro Biñan launched Project ALAGA (Advancing Lifestyle, Awareness, Growth, and Good Nutrition for Mothers and Children) at SV5 Health Center, Barangay Timbao, Biñan, Laguna.
In partnership with barangay health workers, the project promoted maternal and child wellness through health education, nutrition awareness, and the distribution of informative lifestyle medicine brochures to help families make healthier choices. Guided by Rotary’s commitment to creating lasting impact, Project ALAGA highlights the importance of preventive healthcare, proper nutrition, and informed parenting in building healthier communities. By investing in mothers and children today, we help shape stronger families, healthier generations, and a brighter future for all. Together, we ALAGA. Together, we create lasting impact.
