Information We Collect

When you contact the club through the Ask the Club form or by email, we may receive your name, email address, topic, message, and any reply history needed to answer your inquiry.

The website may also process basic technical information needed to load pages, protect forms from spam, and keep the site reliable.

Optional Website Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 only if you choose “Allow analytics.” It may receive the public page path you visit and a limited event name for approved actions such as opening the Ask form, choosing a participation type, viewing or sharing a public story, or leaving for the club's email or social profile. We configure the site not to send names, email addresses, inquiry text, record identifiers, URL query values, admin activity, or advertising-personalization signals.

Your analytics choice is stored in your browser. You can use “Privacy & analytics” in the footer to withdraw or change that choice. Google acts as an analytics service provider for this optional measurement. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to membership, project, event, donation, or partnership inquiries.
  • To route questions to the right club officer or member.
  • To maintain website security, reliability, and public content.

How We Share Information

We share inquiry details only with club officers or members who need them to respond. The site also relies on service providers such as Firebase, configured email delivery providers—including Amazon Web Services Simple Email Service (AWS SES) when that provider is active—and, only after you opt in, Google Analytics to host the website, store submitted questions, deliver messages, and provide the optional measurement described above. An active email provider receives the sender and recipient addresses plus the message content needed for delivery; we do not use those details for advertising.

Your Choices
