Maternal Health
The Rotary Club of Metro Biñan participated in Yakap Hakab 2026 at the Pavilion Mall 2F Activity Center in the City of Biñan, Laguna, in support of maternal and child health.
With the theme “Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works,” the activity promoted breastfeeding as a healthy and nurturing start for infants. It emphasized the role of mothers, families, health workers, and the wider community in supporting breastfeeding and maternal well-being. The project reached over 130 mother-and-child beneficiaries, strengthening awareness of proper breastfeeding practices and a culture of support for mothers and their children. Through this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to nourishing babies, protecting lives, empowering families, and building a healthier community.
